If you’d like the Empathia portal to open automatically whenever you launch Chrome, you can easily set this up using Chrome's On Start-Up settings.  Follow the steps below to ensure Empathia is ready to use as soon as you open your browser.

Step 1: Open Chrome Settings

  1. Open the Chrome browser on your computer.
  2. Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. From the dropdown, select "Settings".

Step 2: Navigate to the On Start-Up Section

  1. Scroll down in the settings menu until you see the "On start-up" section on the left-hand side.
  2. Click on it to open the start-up settings.

Step 3: Set Empathia to Open on Start-Up

  1. Select "Open a specific page or set of pages."
  2. Click "Add a new page."
  3. In the pop-up, enter the Empathia portal URL: https://care.empathia.ai/home
  4. Click "Add" to save.

Step 4: Test Your Start-Up Setting

  1. Close Chrome completely.
  2. Reopen Chrome to ensure the Empathia portal loads automatically.

Pro Tip:  If you prefer to open multiple tabs on start-up (e.g., Empathia and your email inbox), simply repeat "Step 3" for each page you’d like to include in your start-up settings.
