Create a Referral Letter

Creating a referral letter in the format of your preference is extremely simple on Empathia AI. You can automatically generate one after completing an encounter.

1. Auto Generate Referral Letter

Simply click on the box "Referral Letter" in the recording window to auto-generate a letter along with your SOAP note. You can do the same on the app & the Chrome extension. 

2. Manually Generate After Encounter

You can also generate a letter after the encounter is complete. Click on the button to "Generate Other Notes" & select "Referral Letter" 

3. Select a Template (optional)

You can apply a referral letter template of your choice or simply generate a referral letter using Empathia's in-built template. 

4) Review the Referral Letter

Relevant referral letters will be generated based on the information in the encounter transcript. You can simply copy to your EMR & send. 

In order to create a referral letter template, simply upload your sample referral letter & select "Referral Letter" note type before generating the template.
