How to Ensure Good Recording Quality

To ensure successful transcriptions and reduce the chances of errors, it’s important to focus on clear and high-quality audio.

Here are a few key tips:

1. Start Recording When Ready

Avoid starting the recording while still preparing or waiting. Click "Start Recording" only when you and the patient are ready to begin speaking. This eliminates unnecessary noise or silence in the first 10-30 seconds, improving transcription accuracy.

2. Minimize Background Noise

  • Choose a quiet room free from distractions.
  • Use a good-quality microphone and position it close to both you and the patient.

3. Speak Clearly and Naturally

  • Speak at a moderate pace and clearly, especially when discussing important details.
  • Encourage the patient to speak up if they’re unclear or too quiet.

4. Check the Audio

Quickly review the first few moments of the recording to ensure there’s no unwanted noise or silence. Re-record if necessary.
