How to Deal with Call Interruptions while Recording

As phone operating systems don't allow recording user phone call by all means, during a recording, if a phone call comes in, our recorder will be interrupted and will not receive any sound until the call is ended, whether it is declined or picked up then ended.

Here are some simple strategies to minimize interruptions and ensure smooth recordings.

1) Firstly, when using the Empathia AI mobile app, always make sure that you are using the updated version.

2) When there is an incoming call,
a) if you pick up the call, or another app using the microphone appears,  the recording will pause and you will see the pop up shown below.

b)If you don't pick up the phone or decline the call, it will auto-resume in 5 seconds.

c) Once the call is finished or the other app is not using the microphone, you will see the pop up below. You can now resume your recording but always make sure only the Empathia app is using the microphone, or else the recording won't be successful.

To summarize, your recording on the Empathia AI app will be paused if a phone call or another app starts using the mic. It will not resume on its own when it is in the background, but it will set a mark. When the Empathia app is back to the front screen, it will auto resume
