Follow-up visits

For follow-up visits, EMMA might not have the patient’s previous histories or fully understand the patient’s conditions. This is particularly true for psychiatrists. For example, a patient complaining of sleep issues might have previously mentioned alcoholism as a contributing factor.

Tip:

1. Select Visit Type: Follow-up visit

2. Copy and paste the previous medical history into the "Notepad-Past Records" for better continuity of care, and help AI to better organize the notes.

In general, Follow-up notes will be more concise compared to New Patient Visit.
