In healthcare, efficient documentation is vital. The "Start Dictation" feature helps medical professionals quickly turn spoken words into text, making it easier to keep accurate records. This feature lets you speak naturally, and it converts your words into written notes in real-time, in a verbatim manner.

It’s perfect for situations such as when you don't want to say something in front of the patient and after they leave, you can dictate that information (Examinations, Impression, Treatment Plan, etc) into the note. It's also great for simple encounters that you just want to quickly dictate.

Benefits:

- Improves Accuracy: Advanced speech recognition technology captures details accurately, reducing errors in your notes, especially for medical terms and medication names.

- Enhances Workflow: You can dictate notes right after patient visits, ensuring information is accurate and fresh

- Don't need to worry about punctuation

1) if you are an experienced Dragon user with a habit to say "period, next line", AI will automatically remove the punctuation for you.

2) If you are new to the dictation tool, AI will take care of the punctuation and formatting for you.

You can start AI-assisted dictation on all of our platforms: Mobile APP, Web Browser, or Chrome Extensions

1) On Mobile App: you will see an arrow right next to the "New Visit" button. Once you click that, you will see "Start Dictation"

2) If you choose to record your encounter by web portal, click "+ New Encounter". You will see an arrow beside "Start Recording". Once you click that, you will see "Start Dictation". You can now begin dictating into your notes. Below is a visual representation of this feature.

2) Secondly, you can do this using the Google Chrome extension feature as well. It is located in the same place as the web portal dictation feature. Below is a visual representation of this feature.
