Empathia AI Now Integrates with QHR Accuro! (Beta)

We’re excited to announce that Empathia AI now integrates seamlessly with Accuro EMR! This integration empowers you to streamline your clinical workflow by syncing appointments, accessing patient context, and pushing completed notes directly into Accuro—all from within Empathia.

Key Features Available Now

• Push SOAP notes, referrals, and consults directly from Empathia to patient charts in Accuro.

• Pull your appointment schedule from Accuro into Empathia to quickly load patient details and create draft encounters.

• Access patient context such as medical history, medications, and other important information directly from Accuro to enrich your documentation in Empathia.

How It Works: 

The integration supports three core workflows:

1. Connect Empathia to Accuro

2. Sync Schedule from Accuro to Empathia

3. Push Notes from Empathia back to Accuro

1. Connect Empathia to Accuro

• Navigate to the Integration Panel in Empathia and click to activate the Accuro connection.

  
  

• A popup SSO panel will appear. Enter your Accuro tenant, username, and password, then log in.

  
  

• Approve the SSO request to authorize Empathia.

  
  

• Once approved, the Integration Panel will display your connection status and details.

  
  

2. Sync Schedule from Accuro

• After connecting, click Sync Scheduled on your Empathia dashboard.

  • Empathia will pull all appointments for the day, including patient info, based on your timezone.

  • Draft encounters will be automatically created and linked for each appointment.

• You can sync multiple times throughout the day:

  • New appointments added in Accuro will be imported as new draft encounters.

  • Updated appointments require removing the existing draft in Empathia before re-syncing to update.

Sample Workflow:

• You can view and manage draft encounters like any other in Empathia.

• After adding recordings and completing the notes, convert the draft into a formal encounter and generate a SOAP note/Consult letters.
  

3. Push Notes to Accuro

• For synced encounters, once the notes is ready, use the Send to EMR button in the note’s command menu to push your note directly into Accuro.

  
  

• Upon successful submission, you can verify your note inside Accuro under:

  EMR > Encounter Notes
