Feature Overview
Physicians and clinicians generate a variety of notes in their daily practice—from simple sick leave notes and disability certificates to medication appeal letters and fitness evaluations. To streamline this process and give you the flexibility to create any type of note effortlessly, we developed the Supplementary Notes feature.
With this feature, you can quickly create and customize templates for the notes you generate most often, saving time and ensuring consistency.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to get started
How-To Guide
Create new template from the Templates tab
Input information as a note, template or upload a sample letter for a template that you would like to create
Select Supplementary Note as the Note type and click Generate or Save
Review the template and test it with an encounter (Optional).
You can now ready to generate a Supplementary Note with any encounter. Simply click on Generate More Notes and select Supplementary notes
Then select a template and click generate
You can generate multiple Supplementary Notes for each encounter, they will appear as separate tabs within the encounter
You can simply print or email these documents directly to your patient or insurance claims department, and even copy the documents to your EMR for your records.
Best Practices and Tips
- Common Use Tips: Ensure to select "Supplementary note" type while creating the template
- A Supplementary note can only be generated after an encounter is completed.
